Questionwould you know if (white) lustrium has a reputation for turning your finger black/green as silver happens to do to many ? I just got my class ring and it is white lustrium and have had it on for three hours, and my finger has already started to turn
Answer Lustrium is a mixture of nickel and chromium, and is a good, durable finish.
Nickel is silver therefore can tarnish your finger black or green if your sweat glands have a high acid content.
Try painting the inside of the ring with some clear nail polish and the oxidation on your finger should go away.
