What Mineral or Gemsto
My Brother brought this "Rock" home from Brazil. I have been attracted to it and have had it in my garden for the last 3 years. Suddenly, i realized that it must be something special because he carried in home in a Back pack! It has visable Stratafied Chrystaline shapes & is truly beautiful in the light.
Can you recognize what Mineral or Gem it is?

THE 'ROCK' LOOKS VERY INTERESTING. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO SAY FOR SURE WHAT IT IS BUT I CAN TELL YOU WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE. IT LOOKS LIKE A MIXTURE OF MALACHITE AND AZURITE, OR IT COULD BE AZURMALACHITE. THE COLORS ARE ALSO LIKE TOURQUOISE BUT I DON'T THINK IT WOULD BE WITH THIS COMBINATION. LAPIS IS THE SAME COLOR. AND FORMS OF LAZULITE ARE SIMILAR. NOT TO MENTION ABOUT TEN OTHER MINERALS THAT HAVE THE SAME COLORATION AND STRUCTURE. TRY TAKING IT TO A LAPIDARY OR A MINERAL COLLECTOR AND THEY MIGHT BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY IT. GOOD LUCK.
