Rock Identification: Help Me Identify This Shiny, Lightweight Specimen

Question

Shiny rock
I found this rock outside on my yard. I was wondering what type of rock this may be. I have no clue or idea of what type of rock it is. Here are some information on its details. It is silver, very shiny, and light weight. It is roughly cut. If I do hit it on a hard surface like a metal pole; it does break apart in very small pieces. It does not break so easily and it does have a slick surface. So if you could help me out I would really appreciate it. Thanks for your time.

Answer
Hello I am not a geologist but it may be Mica from your description...
you need to try to find a geologist or a rock hound someone that is very knowledgeable and collects rocks... try googling in your area because it's much better if someone sees it in person...
