Identifying a Unique Two-Stone Ring with a Letter Mark

Question
I was given a ring recently and its a two banded gold toned ring which connects by the stones. On one side the ring is made up of 8 small diamonds in a sort of flower shape, than if you "flip" the band its a large garnet stone with a small diamond on all four sides and you can not tell the other diamonds are under the garnet and vice versa! The only marking inside is what appears to be a cursive L inside a circle. I'm just wondering if you can help me to identify it.

Answer
HI AMANDA,

I'M SORRY BUT THE ONLY COMPANY I KNOW WITH THE 'L' IN CURSIVE IS THE LINDE CO. BUT I DON'T BELIEVE THEY MAKE JEWELRY LIKE THAT. THEY ARE MAINLY A COLORED STONE DEALER AND MAY NOT BE IN THE BUSINESS ANYMORE. I WOULD TRY GOING TO THE LIBRARY AND LOOKING THROUGH HALLMARK CATALOGS FOR THIS HALLMARK AND THAT MAY LEADYOU TO THE MFG. GOOD LUCK
