QuestionPlease help..I live off my Veterans Disability(Vietnam 71)and I'm broke..I found an old ring I've had for yrs. I cleaned it with some Jewelry Wipes and it's shining now. I can see what looks like 925 on the inside? It also has a black stone on top measures
3/8 in.W x 7/8 in.L Today is 21/1/10, Fri. I won't get any $$ till next Wed. 27/1/10 ..Do I have a real silver ring that I could get some cash for? if you can can you please answer my question asap? Please and thank you. James M

meaning it is .925 % pure silver...
most likley the stone is black onyx
which looks good but really has little value..I looked on eBay and these rings are available from
$15 to $30...if its good shape you could list it...selling a mens ring is not easy
since not much demand and it needs to be right size...you can always check pawn shop...
If its heavy, you could see what someone will pay for just the silver..
