QuestionHi.I want to find blue euclase pair for earrings, but find still nothing similar.Where i can find such stones-well cut, light blue, high quality stones? Some blue euclase stones i found ,was described as semi precious stones and was cut as cabochon. Can euclase be semi precious stone?I always think about euclase ,as rare ,high class stone.
AnswerSemi precious doesn't mean it's any less rare or desirable,it's just another name in the mineral world for "gemstone". With that said a nice light blue euclase looks similar to aquamarine, tourmaline, blue zircon, and apatite when faceted, and blue chalcedony as a cab.
