Elegant Peacock Nail Art Tutorial: A Step-by-Step Guide

Peacock is the national bird of India and it is one of the most beautiful birds that ever graced our planet. Peacock patterns are loved by fashion followers very much, be it in jewelry, clothes or on our nails. So let’s get started and create peacock nail art pattern on nails:

Things You Will Need:

• Acrylic colors (yellow, red, orange, dark blue, light blue, green, white and black)
• Green nail paint (I am using sally Hansen green with envy)
• Purple nail paint (I am using sally Hansen virtual violet)
• Silver glitter striper nail art pen (I am using konad one)
• Small stripper brush
• Detailing brush
• Dotting tool
• Pin head dotting tool
• Topcoat
• Base coat

Stepwise Tutorial:

Step 1:

First after applying base coat, apply nail paints to your nails as shown in the picture below:

For green fingers and thumb:

Step 2:

Take dark blue acrylic paint and using your stripper brush, make diagonal lines as shown:

Step 3:

Now take yellow color and make egg like oval in between the lines as shown:

Step 4:

Now using dotting tool, make big orange circle in between the yellow ones as shown:

Step 5:

Make a slightly smaller circle with light blue color as shown:

Step 6:

Add dark blue dots in between the light blue ones:

Step 7:

Now add silver lines in between the dark blue lines to add glittering effect:

Step 8:

You are done with your all fingers and thumb, now coming to your ring finger:

Ring finger:

Step 9:

Make a small egg in the oval shape using light blue color in the center of your nail, this will be the face of your peacock:

Step 10:

With the light blue color, make body of your peacock (a big semi oval like) as shown:

Step 11:

Using your yellow color make oval like dots with dotting tool as shown in the picture below:

Step 12:

Now add orange dots in between your yellow ones:

Step 13:

Make purple color by mixing light blue and red colors and draw the crown of your peacock as shown:

Step 14:

Make a small orange triangle to make beak of your peacock as shown:

Step 15:

Add big white eyes to your peacock as shown:

Step 16:

Add black dots to complete peacock’s eyes:

Step 17:

Now fill the back ground with small dark blue, green and silver glitter lines.

Step 18:

Finally apply a topcoat to smooth out your acrylic paints and seal in your new nails.
