Identifying Vintage Dress & Shoe Clips: Reinad, PJC & WII Markings

Question

Dress/shoe clips
At a recent auction I purchased some vintage jewelry. There were several pairs of dress/shoe clips in the lot.  I pair of clips are marked Reinad and numbered 307, another pair is stamped PJC and yet another stamped with WII.  Can you please tell me what the number means on the Reinad pair and what the other stamps mean and were these used as dress clips or shoe clips. I attaching a picture of the Reinad pair and the ones stamped PJC and a pair of earrings that I hope you can date.  Thank you.

Answer
Hello Bev and thank you for your inquiry. The Reinad clips are proabably dress clips - I can't see them too clearly in the photo. The 307 would be the design number. This design was used by several different manufacturers. There are several companies that used PJC in their logo. How it is written would be the key - inside a circle or any other icons ? Periods between the letters ?. The WII I could not locate. Unfortunately, the earrings were not clear enough to provide any information. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance but you may be able to find similar items by using your browser search or browse one of the online auctions such as ebay.com. Enjoy your jewelry.
