Identifying Rose Gold Ring with 'J. & F.' Mark - Appraisal & History

rose gold ring "J. & F
Good morning and thank you for taking the time to try to help me out. I have what looks like a pre-owned rose gold band (10.9grams) with no purity mark. The only stamp inside the ring is "J. & F.". I will include a picture. Do you have any thoughts?
The owner had no idea about the history of the piece or the mark/stamp. Thank you! David

By the looks of the stamp the rings are of domestic production. I have no best guess on when they were made. Without a purity mark i would rule out being of European origin since their laws are more strict than ours here in the US on purity stampings. Bring the rings to a good jeweler to have them tested for their purity and value if you chose to insure them. Good luck.
