Identifying Vintage Pewter Choker with White Stag - Expert Advice

I have an old choker which i was told is pewter, it has a white stag or deer stamped on a clasp on the choker,its very detailed on the metal with pink and purple stones, very vintage looking. i can send a picture via e-mail if needed. i have asked jewelers here in town and no one knows what it is

Hello Jennifer and thank you for your inquiry. I haven't been able to locate anything like you describe in my resources.  It might help if you could get a photo of the item and the clasp mark. Most animal hallmarks are used by Native American and Mexican jewelry and ornamentation and those are usually silver/sterling. Also could be European.  Most American jewelry hallmarks consist of initials along with an icon or the designers or company name.  Sorry I couldn't help at this time but enjoy your necklace .
