Question Gucci perfume necklace
QUESTION: I have a Gucci perfume necklace. It is Silver in color. Looks like little flask. Has Green and Red Stripes with Gucci on the front and Italy on the back. Any information would be appreciated.

A few perfume companies issue "collectables" although they are usually only availiable through large department stores - some bottles sometimes have a mini metal bottle around the neck, but equally may have been used to adorn other items in a range.
I believe the bottle is based on the discontinued Gucci Pour Homme - which was launched in 1976 - I haven't been able to get a date that it was discontinued but think it was around the 1982 mark.
As for value - I would have to do a bit more research which could take some time as I have exhausted my references, but I would think about US$20 would be realistic in these times of economic hardship.
