PCOS & Ovulation After Provera: Possible Ovulation?

Question
Hi!  Recently I was told I have mild PCOS.  I also hadn't had my period for over a year and my doctor said I had not ovulated that whole time once he did my uterus biopsy.  I took Provera 2 months ago and and now on my 2nd period and my question is, is there a chance I could be ovulating now?  I haven't seen the doctor asince he put me on Provera and he was talking about fertility drugs, but I was just wondering if possibly the last two months i could have ovulated.   Thank you!

You would need to be evaluated in the office in order to know if you are currently ovulating. I would recommend that you see a reproductive endocrinologist who would be able to thoroughly evaluate your PCOS and take the necessary steps to correct any bleeding and/or ovulation abnormalities.
