Questioni am not even 5ft,and hve been advised by gp to hve elective section,as prev had emergency.it has been nearly 18mnths since hvng my first.consultant adv to go with natural labour,but risks are involved,i hve 2 mnths in which to mke a decision,of what i want to do.i am confused about the right decision.

of course this is your decision, but if you had a previous section we usually repeat them because of the stress on the suture line. Another factor to consider is your height may mean that your pelvic area may be too narrow for the passage of a baby. What was the emergency last time?
