QuestionDear madam,
I gave birth to my first child last September (13 months). Before pregnanyc I used to workout with weights such as lifting 90kg in a free squat, leg press, lunge with weights etc..
Please advice on lifting weights after a c-section.Is it safe? Mine is lower section bikini cut.
Additionally, my menstrual period is heavier than it used to be before.
Please advice.

AnswerAt 13 months post C-section, you are completely healed and can do all forms of exercise. If you haven't already, make sure that you starting doing core exercises that strengthen your deepest abdominal muscle, the Transverse Abdominis, or TvA. This is key to both flattening the abdomnal wall after and to re-establishing core stability.
