Early Pregnancy Symptoms: Cramping & Spotting - What to Expect
QuestionI just found out a week ago that I was pregnant by taking a home pregnancy test. Over this past week I have been experiencing, well, I wouldn't call it cramping, it just feels warm and tight in my lower abdomen. Also, today I noticed, what looked like a brownish discharge. It wasn't much and it only occurred once. Should I be concerned? I have my first dr. appointment on Wednesday.
AnswerHello Kim- your symptoms are not worrisome at this point. If this pregnancy is going to fail, there is NOTHING you can or should do at this stage. Most women experience at least one failed pregnancy in their lifetime, and probable many more that go undetected. Relax, feed yourself only the highest quality of foods and consider engaging midwifery care rather than a dr. I promise you, it is by far the better care for pregnancy and childbirth. Cheri.
