Fetal Growth Concerns in Late Pregnancy: What to Expect

My daughter is 36 yrs old First pregancy.The baby is 37 wks and has stopped growing but the ultra sound says everything is ok She has to go every week now for ultrasound. is there a problem and why has the baby stopped growing. What is your advise

Hello Isandra. If this "diagnosis" was made on the basis of no change from one week to the next, relax- babies do NOT grow according to the charts. Even if your baby was born now, it would be just fine- though a little small perhaps. Urge your daughter to eat VERY well for the remaining weeks- LOTS of protein- meat, fish, eggs, cheeses, chicken.
