Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC): Is It Possible & Safe?

Question
I have heard that it will not be possible to give normal birth after you have had c sections.

Could you please give me your view on it. I had 2 C's last one was 8 years ago. I am 35 years old.
Also need to know if there will be any risks to the baby?

Thank you

Answer
Hello Yolanda. You ABSOLUTELY can have a vaginal birth after sections- it does not MATTER how many sections. I have caught MANY such babies. You NEED to read these two books- I hope you are not yet pregnant- get your hands on these books as soon as possible and they will answer ALL your questions and many more that you haven't even thought of. They are: Open Season and The Silent Knife both by Nancy Wainer Cohen. She is THE expert on VBACs- vaginal birth after caesarian. She even coined the phrase VBAC. She has a website in her name where you can order the books or use Amazon. You might also enjoy a site called BirthLove. All the best- Cheri.
