QuestionHello I am 39 weeks i went to the hospital sunday because of some pain they checked my cervics and i was not dialated but then i had my normal checkup yesterday and doc said i was dialated to a 1 and that my sack was sagging so my water could break at any time and then today i lost my mucus plug and now i cant sleep im uncomfortable i dont feel right.
am i in labor ?
also is there anything i can do safely other then castoroil to push me into labor because if i dont have the baby by tuesday the doc is going to induce and i have heard it is a lot more painful. plus im only 19 and this is my first baby so its probably going to be painful enough.
Answer Induction is much more painful so if you can avoid that it would be great.
It sounds like the baby is on it's way. It won't be long now.
There are things that can help speed it up, walk walk walk!
Also as long as your Dr. has not told you not to then sex is helpful also.
