QuestionI have been on my maintenance schedule for my allergies and two weeks ago I had a systemic reaction. The doctor was required to administer epinephrine, prednisone and allergy medicine. The doc did ask me if I was pregnant and at that time, I did not think so. However, I think that I may be anywhere from 4-8 weeks. What effects will this have on my baby?

In an emergency situation, you have to use it, in any case. Prednisone can also be used during pregnancy if necessary, although there is a 1% risk of cleft palate.
