Post-Coital Bleeding: Causes, Concerns & When to See a Doctor

hi im writting to you for my girlfrined she's 18 had her period about 2 weeks ago and all of sudden after we had sex probley 3 days ago she started to bleed when she went to the bathroom and its been goin on for about 2 days now and were worried cause she doesnt feel pain. and we are wondering if this is normal and could it be something serious?

If your girlfriend's period started two weeks ago, and she started bleeding now, it is probably due to "ovulatory bleeding" or "mid cycle bleeding" which usually occurs at the time of ovulation. Of course, she could have started bleeding due to  some laceration she got while having sex with you three days ago. If it continues to bleed, go to a gynecologist and have the vaginal wall checked out. If there are no lacerations or abrasions of the vagina, it is most likely not a serious problem.
