Post-D&C Bleeding: What to Expect & When to Worry

I had a D&C because of blighted ovum on 5 August and started bleeding straight away for about 10 days and 4 days of brown discharge.  On 29 August I had bleeding again (looks like my normal period) and it lasted for a week.  One week later, i.e. on 13 September I started bleeding/spotting again (very light, lighter than my normal period).  Am I normal?

Yes, you are fine. Your spotting, and sparatic bleeding is most likely the affects of hormone imbalance due to the DNC. It's quite common after a woman gives birth, miscarries, or has an abortion. It takes about 6 weeks or so for body to regulate again, after the procedure.

So dont worry ..the affects your are feeling are completely normal, and I am sure that in the upcoming month you will find that the bleeding and spotting will have slowed down significantly.
