QuestionThank you very much for your response.
From what I read in your response to my previous question, there is a possibility that my girlfriend is pregnant even though she had her period (23 days after she was expecting it)?.
I need to gather info because she is very reluctant when it comes to visiting the doctor on these subjects.
Again, thanks for your help.
Best regards.
Alfonso

Question -
Hi, my name is Alfonso and I'm really worried about my girlfriend.
She is 24 years old, Weights about: 88Lb and measures 5.4Ft aprox.
She is very regular with here period (only 3 to 4 days fluctuation). But this last moth (April) she had a tardiness of 23 days, she should've menstruate around April the 5th and until yesterday she had her period. I'm worried because I know that's not normal for a woman and she doesn't wants to visit a doctor.
We practice safe sex and there is no penetration whenever we get together, a week before she had her period she felt ill from the stomach (Nothing serious).
Is there something really to worry about?, can this be a symptom of a disease or that there is something grong?.
Thanks for your help.
Best regards,
Alfonso
Answer -
If your girlfriend got her period 23 days later than she expected, she should first make sure that she is not pregnant. A pregnancy test should be done seven days after missing a period. If she takes a pregnancy test and it is negative at this time, she is not pregnant. Then she may merely have some hormonal imbalance and may have to go on birth control pills to regulate her cycle. You did not say what form of birth control you do use. If you ejaculate anywhere near her thigh or vagina and the area is moist, the sperm can sometimes swim into the vagina and cause pregnancy. Remember, there are around 300,000 sperm at the tip of the penis prior to ejaculation and these can be "milked" out of the penis and into the vagina if you are not careful. Perhaps it is a good idea for her to start birth control pills in any case.
AnswerIt is unlikely that she is pregnant if the bleeding that she had after 23 days was, indeed, her period. HOwever, if it was not a period but rather just some bleeding (which can occur during pregnancy) it may be of significance. Before going to a doctor, have her merely take a home pregnancy test. If it is negative, she is not pregnant. If she is not pregnant, she then has hormone imbalance and should be started on birth control pills to regulate her cycles.
