Understanding Cervical Dilation: Advice for a Late Pregnancy

I am due Sunday January 9,2005 and my cervix has only dialated to 1.5 centimeters is there anything I can do to help my cervix dialate a quicker?

Hello Catalina- you may not begin labor for another two weeks yet and I do NOT suggest that you stress yourself out by wishing for it to come sooner. Let things happen the way your body wants it to happen.Your cervix is preparing for labor now- just let it do it's job at it's own pace. All the best- Cheri.
