Possible Pregnancy? Cervical Status & Symptoms - Seeking Medical Advice

i'm 36 years old with 2 girls one 12 na dthe other 4 with trisomy 21. the last period date was nov 23, 2004.  done both home preg test and blood test all neg but doc said during exam that cervix is blue and closed he did not explain what this means.  told to wait and see and if no period in a couple of weeks then doc would give me a shot to make my period come. symptomes of being preg breasts have grown and tender clear with a little white discharge slight pain in lower back and abdomen a lot of urination and very tired. please help want to know if i am pregnant before taking any medication to start my period.

If your last period started on November 23, a pregnancy test should have shown a positive result by December 27. If two pregnancy test taken after December 27 were both negative, it is highly unlikely that you are pregnant. A blue tinged cervix ("Chadwick's sign") is an indication of pregnancy, but is very difficult to asses and is not accurate enough to say if you are pregnant based solely on the color of your cervix. If you do not get your period soon, your doctor will give you Progesterone to induce your period. This will not cause any harm to you if you are pregnant. (We used to use that as a pregnancy test. If it did not bring on the period, it was considered a positive test). Usually, after the progesterone, you will get your period within 10 days. Don't worry.
