The most consistent time of a menstrual cycle is the 14 days from ovulation to the first day of the following period. You are most likely to get pregnant at the time of ovulation and so are already pregnant at the time of the missed period. If you have regular 28 day cycles and the first day of the last cycle, day #1, was Feb, 15, then day 14 would be March,1, which would be when you ovulated. The missed period would start March 15. Today is day 17, so you could be pregnant for 3-4 days. Too early for a pregnancy test.
