Positive Pregnancy Test After Abortion: What Does It Mean?

So I had an abortion 3 days ago and took a pregnancy test, it came out positive. If I take a blood test will it come out positive also?

the answer is YES.
Having said that I"ll tell you why. The test points at the level of pregnancy hormones. As those hormones leave the body slowly the test
stays positive until approx 3 weeks after the abortion.
