QuestionHi, Im a 24 years old and have been with my boyfriend for 4 years. I am on the pill. My last perios was on August 31st 2005. The problem is...I started the new pack of pills about 10 days late. I took 2 pregnancy tests and it says i'm pregnant. Does me starting it late have an effect? And also, while I was not with my bf bc we broke up that month I slept w/ my best friend on September 24th. What do I do? How do I know when I conceieved?
AnswerIf your last period started on August 31, and you started your pills 10 days late, you probably ovulated on September 14. (If you had not missed any pills, you would not have ovlated). If you ovulated on September 14, you could have conceived if you had sex on September 13, 14, 15, or 16. If you have any doubts, take a sonogram which will pinpoint the exact date of conception for you.
