Understanding Light Bleeding After Intercourse: Causes & Concerns

Hi, I wote you already today jan 7th 2006 this is what I wrote. at the bottom you will recive my second question. Refresh"(Hi I am 30 I have 0 children my first day of my last period was 21 st of November 2005. It is now January 7th 2006. I had intercourse on from the 26th of November to the 6 of December no later or earlier. During that time 3rd or 4th of December after rough intercourse I did bleed a little. Then on the 6th of December which then the man who I was with ejaculated inside me. I thought for sure I was pregnant after my December period didn't arrive on the 22nd.  So I felt sick and had to make an Appointment in Toronto when I live in Ottawa because they were month ahead booked in Ottawa. So I spent 300 dollars to get to this clinic in TO and very sick but no vomiting so far. This clinic they told me after an ultra sound (normal belly ultrasound and then they did this probe into my vagina ultrasound) and a 12noon urine sample. That it was negative. So I had to get back on a bus very upset and now I am back home it is the 7th of Jan 2006. This all happened yesterday the 6th Jan 2006. I suddenly don't feel as nauseas anymore but I am on 75mg of Gravol since the 24th of December until today 7th of Jan /06 at 8: am. I was thinking because my previous Pregnancies I was extremely sick maybe I physiologicly felt nauseous? I still kind of feel nauseous. Because after the test the gave me I didn't feel as nauseous either but It's hard to say with me being on the Gravol. Anyway today I am very upset and confused, I thought about it over and over and counted even if I got pregnant on the 6th of December because I couldn't have after the 6th because I never had sexual contact with anyone after the 6th of Dec. it would have been 31 days since the 6th of December 2005 last time I had sexual contact with anyone. With the urine test and ultra sound yestarday on the jan 6th/06. Wouldn't it show on the urine test or ultra sound?  PS. this clinic does early abortions on woman 4 weeks plus. It has also been 45 days I counted since my last period. And 32 days since I had any sexual intimacy. The urine pregnacy test at the TO clinic wouldn't it show a positive result after 31 days since the last time I has any sexual connact? or in both diffrent ultrasounds? Belly and vaginal?)

Thank you for your reply to the letter you replied for me! But I need to ask you another question! I stared to have light bleeding what should I do about it. And you said I was defintetly NOT pregnant with your last response today. But with the light bleeding now what do you think? Am I just having a late period? will it start to get more heavy? PS.About 6 years ago now I have had 4 abortions. And I get light short periods lasting 3-4 days normally since those abortions. I don't drink, smoke or take the pill or any drugs. I have not eaten meat for 2 years now exept chicken. In case that helps you at all.

As I mentioned before, if your last period started on November 21, the earliest you could have ovulated (and conceived) would be December 4,5,6, or 7. You said that the urine test was negative. After December 18, the urine test would be accurate, so if it showed a negative test in January, you are not pregnant. If you started to have light bleeding, just wait to see if it turns into a period. You are definitely not pregnant whether you have bleeding or not. Your past history of four abortions have no impact on your present situation. A period is considered normal if you bleed for less than 14 days at a time. If the pregnancy  test and sonogram do not show a pregnancy, you are not pregnant.
