QuestionHello, this may have been asked/answered this before but I have a slow computer and therefore, I will go ahead and ask what I need to ask. It may take awhile.
First off: I heard on the news that tea is good for the reproductive system. I find this interesting because I drink flavored tea often and my body seems more relaxed and I'm more regular due to it.
Okay, now here's my odd question.
I hate to overanalyze because like most women I do question pregnancy from time to time. But, now I'm just wondering what is going on. So, really I haven't been paying much attention or finding anything everything is just coming.
My partner and I last had sex on December 8th. We at first didn't use protection (I am off the pill, we are currently in an LDR) and then he stopped and put a condom on.
I didn't really think anything of it, seeing that we're not really planning a pregnancy (we're both 21) but we both know it wouldn't be a bad thing if it had happened. So, I really don't worry much about it.
On December 16th, about 8 days after intercourse, I started what I thought was my period. However, I don't remember much except for VERY little cramping and absolutely no pms symptoms. I'm never extremely heavy anyhow, so knowing that I was light and it was short, didn't think anything of it.
After the bleeding had stopped, I was fine for a few days, then right around Christmas, my breasts started to get very tender. This again is very unusual for me, because my period never comes before day 28.
Over the last few weeks, nothing really had changed except that my breasts are little more tender and now I keep getting twinges of sharp pain in them almost like I am growing. I wish I could easily ignore this, but I'm a 36C so it's hard for me not to notice.
Also, in the last week or so, I have felt very tired, bloated, and hungry and even begnning to urinate more . Even though I eat well, I feel like I can't get satisfied.
I am going to the doctor this week to have an exam, so I won't be taking a pregnancy test. I really want to know before hand on what's going on, so I can know what more to expect.
I really haven't overanalyzed this, but I try to keep in tune with my body and where you work somewhere where it's constantly busy and you have to run someone once every two hours to pee is something odd!
thanks for listening to my ramble
AnswerI can't tell if and when you became pregnant without knowing the first day of your last period. If you have any doubt, take a pregnancy test. If it is negative, you are not pregnant in spite of any symptoms you may have. The earliest symptoms of pregnancy are breast tenderness, fatigue, and nausea. The only way to tell is by a pregnancy test.
