If you did become pregnant, a pregnancy test would not show a positive result until 14-21 days later (after April 16). The best time to take a pregnancy test would be seven days after you miss your next period. Even if you had a positige pregnancy test, if you do not get your next period by April 17, wait until April 24 and repeat the pregnancy test. If it is still positive, you are pregnant. Light spotting is perfectly normal in early pregnancy, unless it is heavy with cramping.
