hello i was wondering if you can answer a question that is really bothering me as it helps with paternaty
i slept with person 1 on the 8th of december and then had a what i think was my period on the 17th december and have been sleeping with guy 2 from then on i am now 25 weeks and 1 day i had a dating scan on the 17th march that sed i was12 weeks and 5 days is there any chance that person 1 is the father my due date is september 24th thank you for your help and time

First of all, if you had your period after you had sex on December 1, you could not have become pregnant at that time. Since you did not remember if you had your period on Decemer 17, it is hard to tell exactly when you ovulated. However, if you really had your peeriod on December 17, you could not have ovulated or conceived until December 30 and could only have conceived if you had sex on December 29,30,31, or January 1. You would have been 14 and weeks on March 17, and are due on Decembe 24. Therefore, there is no way that the first person is the father. You could not have conceived if you then did get your period. Don 't worry.
im almost sure that it was my period as both scans give me the same amount of weeks to the pregnancy as lmp does thank you for ypur help

It was definitely your period on December 17, but you said it was "what you thought was your period". It definitely was your period. Everything else fit. HOwever, once you get a period, you can't be pregnant.
just one more thing ultrasound date the time from conseption coz if so it indicates i got pregnant a day after my lmp started
AnswerYou cannot become pregnant unti the day of ovuolation, which is 14 days after you get your period. We count a pregnancy from the first day of your period even though youdo not conceive util 14 days later. Your period started on December 17, but you did not become prognant until December 29,30,31, or January 1.
