Anterior Placenta: Understanding Risks & Cesarean Concerns
QuestionThis is my 7th pregnancy I have 6 healthy kids and I have never had an anterior placenta I am a bit nervous about this is there any risks? will I have to have a c-section?
Thanks
AnswerIt is very common to have an anterior placenta. As long it is not a placenta previa, there shold not be a problem. In an anterior placenta, the only problem comes if you have to hve a cesarean section. Then, your doctor has to avoid cutting through the plecenta, which the doctor is trained to do. Don't worry.
