QuestionI had a rectal tear after delivering my first child which I think has reopened. I am currently taking sitz baths for it. However, I am worried that it may reopen again once I get pregnant again. Would this effect my child in the womb or with delivery if it would reopen again?

you might want to check with your doctor about this; sounds like you have a weakness there now because of this. I have heard of it happening plenty of times; its not rare, unfortunately... but I believe they can do minor surgery on it to strengthen it and prevent this from happening again.
But no, it won't affect your baby in the womb or with delivery. It is one of those things that you have "paid the price" for, so to speak... we women suffer physically dont we!
I hope things go just fine; but dont worry about the baby with this, you worry about yourself! The baby will be jsut fine.
