in 2000 i had the type of tubal were tubes are cut and burned. I am married now and my husband and i both want to know what the possibilities of conceiving are after so long. please let me know if there are ANY possibilities of having another baby

Hi Lynn,

If your tubes where cauterized, the chances of you ever conceiving naturally, are extremely low. The last I read, that tubals done with cauterization, is about 99.95% effective.

In extremely rare cases, the tubes might beable to mend back together, but again its extremely rare, and virtually unheard of, especially if the tubes were burnt.

You said you had the procedure done in 2000 ..well if you havent become pregnant in the last 6 years, the chances are almost 0 that you ever will become pregnant, unless you have a reversal, or consider Invitro Fertilation.
