Ectopic Pregnancy After Tubal Ligation: Risks & Recovery


Question
I became preganant after my tubal.  I was so very excited because i wanted another baby so bad.  Shortly after I found put I ended up in the er having emergency surgery my tube had ruptured.  I had to have my tube removed lost my baby it has been very difficult.  So question for you is how likely is it   that both of my tubes reconnected and not just that ome because I so dearly want another child with the my husband.  I am from Kerrille Tx please help in answering my question I have looked high and low for this answer.

Hello Christen from the U.S.(Texas),

It is highly unlikely that both tubes reconnected. As it is, it was a rarity for you to get pregnant after your tubal ligation. Your only options if you want to have another child, is to either have the tube repaired (reanastamosis) or to do IVF.
