Hi April :)
Anytime you have unprotected sex, you are open to becomming pregnant. However, you didnt state if your last period was normal, or irregular. You said it lasted only 2 days, which seems kind of short ..which made me wonder if that could have been an implantation bleed. If that was as abnormal period, please write back and let me know ...
Its possible all your tests came back negative, because the tests were done early. We generally recomend that tests be done atleast at the 4 day late mark, for your period. Its essential, that you do the tests first thing in the morning when you wake up. First morning urine, is more concentrate, so if you are carrying the HCG hormone (pregnancy hormone) in your urine, it will be more prominate. Many times, ladies take tests during the day, and they get false negatives because the fluid intake during the day will dilute the urine. So remember, doing the test in the morning is of up most importance.
The discharge, could be the result of hormonal change. This could be brought on by pregnancy, however it could be brought on by pms, or the onset of your period. The cramping, could also be an indicator of implantation, which occurs in early pregnancy, however it could be a sign of your period coming as well.
Its a really hard call right now, to know if you are pregnant. All you can do is wait, and retest yourself again. However, if you want a conclusive answer, you could always go to your doctor, and ask for a beta HCG blood test. This will conclusively diagnose pregnancy, even in extremely early stages.
If pregnancy is ruled out, that you late period is probably due to a hormonal imbalance. Hormonal imbalances can be caused from stress, physical illness, weight gain, weight loss, or any dietary change. Hormonal imbalances can happen to women time to time, but generally if your period is normally a regular one, its not of concern, and will correct itself.
Hope this is of some help, and thanks for writing :) Should you have further concern, please dont hesitate to write back :)

AnswerHi April :)
Yeah, I was suspicious about your period. Sounds to me like this could have been implantation bleeding, which is a symptom of pregnancy. Just to let you know, implantation bleeding is short, and sparadic. Quite often, its not enough for a pad ..let alone a pantyliner. Its usually pink, or dark brown in colour. And its is associated with mild period like cramping. Its often overlooked as an irregular period, when indeed its a pregnancy symptom ..
So this is a total possibility with you ..
Yes, taking the tests at night, and early in this "possible pregnancy" will give you a false reading ..Tomorrow morning when you do the test, I think it should be fairly accurate at this point ..
There's a good chance, you could be pregnant. Please write back and let me know how your test comes out. If I am maxed out on this site, and you are unable to contact me here, please email me at dplunjer@yahoo.com and let me know.
I will anxiously be awaiting to hear from you, and Good luck!!!
