Early Period After Stopping Birth Control: What To Do?

Question
i was on the path for about three months and i decided to go back on the pill.  On that thursday i took off the patch and started my period on friday, i  didn't think i had to wait a month so i started taking the pill the sunday after my period. i then got my period a week early so i ommitted the last week of bcp.  And i kept taking the pill as usual.  Now i have started my period early again and i just decied to finish the month off, i was just wondering if i should just wait a month till i start menstration again?

You don't have to wait a month. But to be protected from pregnancy you should have started the pill seven days after removing the patch, at the latest.

Remember to take your pills as prescribed regardless of spotting and breakthrough bleeding, wich may occur at any time.

Breakthorugh bleeding is a common side effect of the pill and other hormonal contraceptives. Just take your pills as normal, there is no need to not take the pill for a month. If you experience heavy bleeding or pain you should see your doctor.
