Labor Signs: What to Do When Contractions & Possible Water Leakage Occur

I thought my water was leaking and went to the hospital i had also been having contractions every 2-3 minutes mainly every 2...the last time i was at the doctors i was only 1cm and two days later i was 2cm dilated and i'am still having strong contractions every 2-3 minutes and its been two days ago i was dilated to 2cm should i be calling my doctor?

If you are sure ur leaking amniotic fluid and having such stron contractions, you should call your doctor. I cannot give firm diagnosis based on the info u provided but delivery, in general , should not be delayed for more than 24 hours after rupture of membranes.

I advise an examination and ultrasound to determine the amount of amniotic fluid around your baby. This is for proper diagnosis and timely intervention.
