Questionhi doctor. here's my question.
i haven't had sex for like 4 months. my bf and i used a condom when we did. i didn't miss any periods but they've been weird which got me sorta worried. i have some weird symptoms too so here's whats going on and maybe you can shed some light on it.
i had 5 periods and i'm irregular so it's not really weird i got 5 in 4 months (had 2 in august). but the bleeding's different. it lasts like 2 or 3 days instead of 5 and the blood's less than usually is. there's still some flow on the pads but not as much. but when i pee there's streaks of blood in the toilet i can see. i get pms before and then it goes away like normal.
also been having:
- headaches almost everyday
- weird twinges on the sides of my lower stomach
-weird hard feeling around my belly button and stomach pulsing
- weird veins showing up on my body like legs arms hands chest and sides of stomach
- nipples seem a little darker like when i take my bra off they looks kind of darker and stuff. they don't hurt except for before the periods but the color seems weird. they arent really bigger.
i took a bunch of hpts and they were all negative.
what could be causing all this stuff?

You may be experiencing a hormonal imbalance, normally this will correct itself, however if it doesn't you may need estrogen shots. Stress or exercise can also cause the bleeding to stop sooner than normal. You don't need to worry just yet, if this continues visit your doctor to determine the cause.
