Pregnancy & Thyroid: Understanding TSH Levels and Medication Adjustments

Hi. My wife got missed abortion last year. We have a 8 year old child. No she is pregnent since last two months. Her TSH during last year was within limits but last week test indicated 8.75TSH and dr increased the Thyroxin 100mcg to 150 mcg. Is there anything to worry? What we should do now for all safety.

I don't think there is anything to worry. The dose of thyroxine needs to be increased during pregnancy for many reasons( these are very complicated so i will not discuss them). Just take thyroxine on time and get thyroid test once every three months. There should be no problem.
