QuestionHi shawn,
I have aready asked you few questions about my chemical pregnancy in june 2007.Three months after chemical pregnncy me and my husband were trying to conceivec.
We have been ttc from past 7 months, but i dont know what is wrong with my body. I am unable to get pregnant even after having sex before and after ovulation time . Last month ie on march 16th to march 19th i could see spotting, and some blood for three days, during ovulation period.
I did not have sex for next 15 days, and i got my periods as usual. Please tell me, why is this happening with my body, and what should i do to get pregnant. I am really getting scared, . Can u tell me how much it would cost to consult the fertility centre here in USA,in boston area, and what are the tips to get pregnant,as I am really very dissapointed.
AnswerHi there,
So sorry to hear that you are having trouble getting pregnant. It seems that when you don't try, it just happens, and sometimes when you do, it takes a while.
I can't really tell you how much it costs to see a fertility clinic. You would need to call around and get some prices. And really infertility is not something that midwives have a lot of expertise in, so I can really give you anything more than general ideas that might help.
That being said, I would suggest that you relax, don't worry about it so much and enjoy sex with your husband. I would also recommend that you have sex a least every couple of days. That way if you are ovulating at a different time than you think you are, you will still have a chance.
Also, treat your body as if you were already pregnant. Eat good food, take some good whole food prenatals from a health food store, get plenty of sleep..that sort of thing. It surely won't hurt you and if you are already at a healthy place when you get pregnant, it will be a healthier pregnancy.
Good luck!
