Understanding Low hCG Levels: Pregnancy Uncertainty & What They Mean

Good Afternoon,

I need some advice i have taken 3 hpt they were all first response and have gotten 3 faint positives all withi 5 min. Yesterday io went for blood tests and my hcg levels were 14 the lab that did the test said that anything under 5 is negative and anything over 25 is positive anything inbetween is a question mark. I am reg normally every 30-31 days i get my period i took the blood test 1 day before my expected period. Does having a level of 14 mean i am pregnant but just have a low hcg level?

There are a few reasons for low HCG levels while pregnant.
But most significantly, you took this test very early, so  the low levels are very probably due to that. You may want to re-take it in a week, to see if the HCG levels rise at the rate that they should. I hope this information helps you.
