The Director of Hospital Lab Operations, in collaboration with the Carilion Labs Management Team, the Medical Director, and appropriate Assistant Medical Directors, provides day-to-day management of all rapid response laboratory operations.   

The Director is responsible for ensuring the provision of high-quality testing services, within the Carilion Labs budget and strategic plan, to all Carilion Labs customers.
