Understanding Abnormal Lab Results: BUN, Creatinine, and Monocytes

my three y/o son had some test preformed today and his BUN level Shows 7l ( 8-20 ref range) Creatinine 0.29 L ( .64-1.27 range) monocytes L (5-10 RANGE) should i be concerened his sympton for the test were because frequent urination, back pain. I am waiting for the dr to call ofcourse but i just want some info.

Hi Lisa.  BUN and creatinine can detect kidney problems, and monocytes are one type of WBC (white blood cell).  But, it looks like the reference ranges for the tests you listed are "adult" ranges.  Since your son is 3, the ranges are lower.  So, basically, his test results are all within normal range.
