Understanding Low Lymphocyte & High Protein Levels: A Medical Explanation

Hi Samantha my bloodwork came back low Lymphocyte 21 and my protein level flagged as high 9.6. Can you please give me some direction in what this could mean. Im a 22 year female.

Hello.  I can only partially answer your question.  Lymphocytes are one type of WBC (white blood cell).  Your count of 21 is only slightly below the normal range, and is unlikey to be of any clinical significance, especially if all of the other WBC counts were normal.  Now I can't answer the question about your protein level unless you clarify.  There are hundred of proteins in the body, so I need to know which protein is 9.6.  Is it just TOTAL protein?
