Post-Abortion Concerns: Bleeding Absence & Positive Pregnancy Test

i had a vacuumed abortion on the 12/12/08, and i experienced no bleeding after. I have experienced some pain in my privet area, so i was advised to go to my local a and e department, and they carried out a pregnancy test which came back positive treted my symptoms as a uti! is it normal, not to bleed and the pregnance test to come back posative?

I realize that it's been a while since you posted this question but would still like to advise you if possible. Yes, sometimes you get a positive pregnancy test even at this point. I would recommend that you take a another test. You can find a pregnancy resource center at http://www.optionline.org or call 1-800-395-HELP. They will give you a free test and help/advice.
