Pregnancy Possibility: Ovulation Timing & Testing After Cycle

hi dr.EJRamirez ..  writing  from ont canda  kinda  scared   just  wounderin if there is any chance of  getting pregnant  LP  was aug 11 -2008   had  sex the 18th 19th an 20   an also on 21 st  checked many sites  2  find out  when i would ovulate  an  not  sure   should  have  P on sept 7-8 of sept   when can i test  or  am i safe

Hello Kayla,

If you had your period on 11 August, and you usually have regular periods each month, then you ovulaed around August 25th, assuming you have a 28 days cycle.  So, based on this, it is unlikely that you would have become pregnant on the 18th-21st, unless your cycles are shorter than 28 days and you ovulate earlier.

I woould recommend that you wait until you have or miss your period to check for a pregnancy test.  If you do a blood pregnancy test, you can find out as early as 3 September.
