Irregular Periods at 17: Causes & What to Do

Well I'm 17 and I haven't had a period for 3 months and 6 months before that. I've had my periods since I was 9 and they've all been heavy.

I would see an ob/gyn so that they can evaluate why you're not getting regular periods.  This can be common given your young age, but it sounds like you're not ovulating normally.  This alone would not mean you're infertile.  Best thing to do is see your doctor.
