Infertility After Miscarriage & Plan B Use: Causes & Solutions

Question
Hi,

I had a early miscarriage about four months ago, and was told to give my body time to heal. Now I've been trying to conceive again, with no luck. In the beginning of the year, I have been taking a lot of Plan B (about 3 packs within a month or two)But didn't think much of it because I did get pregnant, but just lost it early on. My question is, whats causing me not to conceive again? I have periods, which lets me know that I am ovulating. Not to mention I'm already a mother of one. I've been trying every month and have failed every time, since the miscarriage. I also want to mention that I recently had two periods in the same month, but skipped this month. Can you please enlightened me on whats going on with my body?

Answer
Hello Tina from the U.S.,

By definition you are not considered having an infertility problem until you have been unsuccessful for 1 year.  It takes 85% of couples 8-12 months to achieve pregnancy.  That is the norm. So, you may just have to give yourself some more time.
