QuestionHi Mama ,
i have a doute with usage of Duoluton L,I need your advice.
I am Sri using Duoluton L for 2 cycles as i have a complainte of PCO my doc adviced me to take Duoluton L to regularize my periodes.
But on my last cycle of Duoluton L i have missed last one(21st) tablet,with this i have a period after sucessive 6th day and which has lasted for 1 day with normal bleeding.
So can you PLz give the reason why i have my periodes with this sort.

Duoluton is a birth control pill. It works by over-riding your ovaries and controlling your cycle directly. The onset of the period is caused by stopping the active hormones at the end of the cycle. Normally there is a set of periods at the end of the pack that are different color and these are called placebo pills, meaning that there is no active hormone in these tablets. Because the hormone is withdrawn, the period or bleeding will start. If you miss pills along the way, like in the middle of the pack or somewhere other than the end when you should have a period, the withdrawal of the hormones will have similar result and lead to bleeding.
This is certainly a simple question that your doctor should have answered for you.
